A Personal Story with Local Roots

I didn’t just choose Ocean City — We were raised on its beaches, biking on the boardwalk in the morning, family gatherings, and ice cream. Our family’s summer vacations here were the highlight of every year. We’d rent a house for a one to two weeks, cram into every corner, and make the most of every minute — days filled with body surfing, boardwalk games, and nights laughing over Manco/Manco pizza!

Those vacations weren’t just fun — they were formative. They gave us an appreciation for the traditions that bring families closer and the places that create lifelong memories. Ocean City was one of those places for us, and it still is.

Our mother loved this town. It held a very special place in her heart, and I made her a promise — one day, we would own a house here. That dream eventually became a reality, and now that home is the heart of Gloria Vare Properties. Every rental we offer reflects that promise, and of the incredible woman who inspired it.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking and dining—including pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and basic staples like spices, oil, and condiments. While you’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal, please note that we don’t provide perishable food items or groceries, so be sure to bring your own ingredients.
